Hence it is of utmost importance to have a comprehensive and focused education platform that can help today\u2019s youth walk into a better tomorrow\u201d<br \/>\n<strong>Prof. Javed Khan<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When our founder Prof. Javed Khan established this college, we were guided by a simple but demanding conviction: that education is not the transfer of information, but the integral formation of a complete human being. That belief shapes everything we do here \u2014 how we design our programmes, how we engage with our student-teachers, and the kind of teaching professionals we aspire to nurture and send into the world.<br \/>\nThe B.Ed. programme at OCER is more than a professional qualification. It is an opportunity to think deeply about what it means to teach and why it matters. Together, we explore rigorous subject methodologies and develop classroom strategies informed by the best of contemporary research and technology. But alongside all of that, we also ask something more of one another: that we reflect on our own values, examine our assumptions, and cultivate within ourselves the patience, empathy, and intellectual curiosity that great teaching demands.<br \/>\nNEP 2020 emphasizes a complete transformation in how teachers are prepared and at OCER, we have embraced this vision fully. We believe a great teacher is not just knowledgeable \u2014 they are critical thinkers who engage thoughtfully and respond meaningfully to the diverse needs of every learner in their classroom.<br \/>\nOur student-teachers leave here prepared not just with knowledge and confidence, but also equipped with sound subject methodologies and exposure to the most innovative, technology-integrated teaching strategies available today. Artificial Intelligence is already in our classrooms. At OCER, we go further than just introducing new-age tools to our student-teachers. We equip them to understand how AI works, what it does well, and where it falls short, so they can bring it into their lessons with confidence and purpose.<br \/>\nWe want our student-teachers to step into the world with the conviction that their work is the primary catalyst for the betterment of society.<br \/>\nWe look forward to the opportunities that lie ahead as we grow together within the education community.
