While technology can play an important role in restructuring teaching and learning practices, teachers must take a leading role in designing appropriate learning environments that effectively incorporate technology to help their students learn well with technology. Computer technology, as a tools, could empower students with thinking and learning skills, and help students interact with complex materials. However, computers alone cannot realize many educators\u2019 vision for technology to improve education.<\/p>\n

Need and Importance of the ICT Cell<\/strong><\/p>\n

  2. Diverse Learning Needs<\/strong>: IT is essential to meet the needs of a variety of learners.<\/li>\n
  3. Technological Literacy<\/strong>: Society requires all individuals to be technologically literate.<\/li>\n
  4. Access and Cost Efficiency<\/strong>: IT helps increase access to education and reduce costs to combat illiteracy and poverty.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
