In alignment with the transformative goals of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, Dr. Priyanka Pandey, Principal, provided suggestions and formulated the following key pointers for the NEP Implementation Cell at the Oriental College of Education and Research.
Preamble
Education is a cornerstone for individual and societal development. The NEP 2020 envisions an education system that is inclusive, holistic, and forward-thinking. This Constitution defines the objectives, structure, and functioning of the NEP Implementation Cell to guide the college in adopting and embodying the principles of NEP 2020.
Objectives of the NEP Cell
- Policy Implementation:
Ensure effective adoption and execution of NEP 2020 in the college’s academic, administrative, and extracurricular dimensions. - Awareness Building:
Raise awareness among stakeholders—students, faculty, and staff—about NEP 2020 through interactive sessions, workshops, and materials. - Curriculum Integration:
Collaborate with departments to integrate NEP principles, emphasizing experiential and interdisciplinary learning. - Teacher Training:
Conduct training for faculty to adopt innovative pedagogical methods and equip them with the tools for 21st-century education. - Research and Innovation:
Foster research on NEP’s impact and implement creative practices to enhance student learning experiences. - Stakeholder Engagement:
Actively involve students, faculty, and staff in discussions and initiatives to promote education reform and leadership. - Feedback and Recommendations:
